My name is Huey and I own Marietta Motorsports.
We're a performance and tuning shop near Atlanta, GA. Here's our website if you want to pre-meet us: www.BBCracing.com

We also do track side suspension support and vending for STT. I thought I'd tell y'all a little of what we do and what you can use us for.

Suspension: One of our biggest "sellers" is a suspension base-line and tuning. We set your bike's spring's preload for your weight and then adjust the compression and rebound damping to your riding style / ability. If there's any changes that will make you feel more comfortable of the day that's included! Setup / baseline is $60

Oopsies: We keep a lot of the most common parts to get you back out on the track in case you encounter a sudden gust of gravity. There's no way to keep everything for every bike but we have an extensive Endurance Racing back ground so we can usually find some sort of safe fix so your day won't be ruined.

Stuff: We have a 44' trailer chock full of stuff! Cleaners, lubes, sprockets, tools, chargers, brake pads, go-pros, go-pro stickies, oil, oil filters... All kinds of stuff! If you don't see it ask.

Knowledge and service: Been around for a LONG time and seen a lot of things. As a crew-chief I've flown from Macau China to Isle of Man and every where between to work on people's bikes. I've also been told I have an easy way of 'splaining things. So anything you wanna know: just ask!

Education: I'll be teaching a couple of classes that day. First will be a "Motorcycle 101" class that goes over all the major components of your bike and what they do. If time permits I'll also have ready a "Suspension 101" class that shows you how your suspension works, what those knobs are for and what can be done to make it better

Looking forward to meeting all of y'all!
    Huey

What happens when a sink knocks on your door?
    You let that sink in!

I think the definition of "joke" is pretty loose. Hahahaha

Huey - I know this post is about Tally, but i'll be coming to meet you at Barber.

Have a new bike (09 gsxr 1k) and looking to get the suspension adjusted. Also, the bike has the dreaded brake shimmy under hard braking that I've read about a lot of gixxers (not in the lever, just the whole front end). my 06 1k did the same thing but I sold it before I diagnosed it.

I've knocked several things off the list and am down to either needing the suspension set up correctly or the steering stem bearings needing checked and retorqued. Not sure if you'd normally bring the tool to do that, but bring it if you can! :)

Hi Huey! I was actually planning on coming by by your shop on Saturday to get my suspension adjusted. I am a brand new rider... only being riding since April. Riding the super chicken since June (about 5,000 miles on it now)... and I have never had the suspension adjusted from the large man that owned it before me... and I am attending my first Track Day at Tally on Monday.
Do I need to make an appointment? Saturday is kinda all I got. Sorry for short notice- but I just found out today that I won the ride right raffle!

I'll be over at Barber but Skinny and John are awesome! Skinny has worked for other suspension shops and John is a WERA endurance racer.
