2002 Ford E150 $2,999 This van is a steal at $2,999. It is a very reliable van, with a lot of new/fresh parts. Loaded and ready to go! Bought this van over the winter to transport motorcycles. I had purchased the van early Feburary, replaced and repaired a lot of the van(wear and tear due to age). Shocks, brakes, bearings, plugs, wire, oil, other suspension parts, tires with plenty of tread, I can get the full list of service records if interested. The intent was to take care of everything so I would be good to travel the country. The back windows have since then been spray painted from the inside(looks pro from outside), but this stops wandering eyes from seeing the motorcycles inside. Currently it has the OEM floor mat and some plywood on top of it. Has the baby V6 in it but does great with mileage. 16City - 19Hwy Fully loaded or empty. This thing should be ready to go another for quite some time. Engine and tranny are in great condition, never towed by me with but does come with a brake controller and a 12k max tow rating on the hidden hitch. There is some rust on the sides of the rocker panels, but the van is excellent overall shape. Has 115,000 miles or so. Comes with 3 keys, driver's heated seat cover(very basic but a lifesaver in the winter, 2 spare winter tires. So your getting out of racing, found a better ride. Why after all the work are you selling this van. Tried to find the craigslist ad, no luck. Guess it's an automatic transmission?
I am not getting out yet! I've had some engine troubles bike wise this year which has kept me from TD/starting to race. I ended up getting a pick up truck this month, and I plan on using that to haul from here on out. A friend of mine has a trailer I can use or I have a rig set up for TRS in my truck bed and a nice long 4x8 ramp. But I can't justify keeping it for the handful of trips a month I would use at this point because of the insurance. I got a really good deal on it back in the winter, so my loss is your gain. Insurance is what's really killing me on the van at this point with 2 vehicles(I'm 20 years old with a squeaky clean drivers record). I pay around $230 a month for the van, and around $260 for my 2012 F150. Wasn't many discounts with 2 vehicles so those 2 numbers pretty much added up. If insurance was realistic with their rates, I would probably keep the van because it's so damn useful. For my street bikes, most companies wanted $450+ a month to insure me on my 04 CBR 1000RR(nada value of like $4500). It was more around $300 for a 06 CBR 600rr.
Here's the CL ad, automatic transmission, best AC in a vehicle I've personally ever experienced, no cruise, has a brake controller. http://grandrapids.craigslist.org/cto/5181854685.html
That's what most of the name brand insurance companies want from me for the motorcycles. I always end up having to go with a small subsidiary of the big companies to get a somewhat decent deal. Still haven't gotten any bike insurance under $200/month though.
That's madness! I'm 20 and pay ~$365 a year for my '06 Daytona (state min + comprehensive) from Progressive. Clean record.
Let's move this van! I have all the repair work papers on it, there was a TON of stuff replaced on this van. Runs great! Even has a steering damper! Bumpity bump bump.
Price Drop Bump $3,500! Would love to sell it this week! Someone buy this and turn it into an awesome camper track day hauler van! It has a new F350 Ambulance Steering damper on it, because race van!
