I am not in a position of authority (in other words take what I am about to say with a grain of salt), but my understanding is that if the vehicle is street legal then it is ok (but still no bicycles). But, get a response from STT to be certain. I see others riding pit bikes at STT but I believe they are all street-registered vehicles (license plates).
Rode Gateway Motorsports Park Sunday in 100* heat and 80% humidity. I've only been doing this for two years and this was the hottest track day I've ever done! Looking forward to the cooler conditions at Autobahn Saturday! This will be my second time doing the South course, have done the North course once (in wet conditions). See y'all soon......
My first time there, and a new intermediate rider.so if anyone is willing to take me under there wing for a couple of laps, will be greatly appreciated. Glad to put my gopro one and hopefully get you a video. .
I'll also be doing that course for the first time as an intermediate. We should meet up and compare "notes" at some point! I'll be on my R3, how about you?
Although it wil be my second ride on the South course, I'm on a different bike now so it's kinda like starting anew. I'll be on a black and yellow sv650 riding Saturday.
Who, if anyone, is doing pictures for this event? I'd like to check out their website and pricing. Thanks!
Any chance for a generator rental on Saturday? Haven't had any luck getting transportation lined up to get mine to the track in time.
doing south after a long time anyone have a link to that map of where you can pit... i.e. bike on the road vs grass
Jeff THANKS for posting that. At least you only passed me once. LOL. Was my first trip there and the morning wet sessions took a little off the day. Nice afternoon and real pleased the rain held off.
