I had EBC hh's on a old bike and carbon loraiane c59's on previous. I really like them they have a ton of bite and don't seem to fade
Havent tried the Vortexes (Vortices? lol) yet, but heres my thoughts on Vesrah XX's and EBC GPFAX's: -Initial bite, feel, and overall power all go to EBC. -No noticeable fading from either. -EBC retains similar feel throughout its short lifespan. -Longevity goes to Vesrah. Judging by amount of material left, I assume they last about 2-3x longer than the EBC's. Possible loss of power&feel, see below. When I came off a set of toasted (~0.5mm) GPFAX's, I didn't notice a drastic change in performance going to XX's. When I came off a halfway used (2-3mm) set of XX's, I noticed a fair improvement in all qualities going to GPFAX's.
Tried them not at all happy. They lasted 4 track days 1 Grattan 1 Gingerman 2 Barber and they were toast Sent me a new set but I'm not going to try them again
Maybe you didn't like them because they sent you 1 correct and 3 incorrect pads.. So your review is only good for a 1/2 a cent... and not the full 2 cents.
