I wanna thank Brett for being a stand up guy, in just two laps of me following him, it made the rest of my sessions a lot faster and wayyyy more fun ! Thank you brutha !!!
Thanks to everyone at STT for a great weekend at Barber! Special thanks to Larry, Porky, and Charlie. You guys gave me some great advice. I'm going to keep chipping away at my mental blocks. My son and I will be back as soon as his wrist is 100%.
As usual, another fantastic Saturday at Barber! It was great to see our STT friends and other riders and families we have met in the past. We also met new folks which we hope to see again. Thanks Trevor, Cyndi and Ed for your help. You all absolutely made my day!!!
Me too!!! Best track weekend ever for me - I was even bumped to advanced! I have an ugly blister on my throttle hand and skin worn off on my toe, but once I was out there I forgot all about it LOL I finished out both days and was turning lap times that I didn't know I was capable of, and I was doing it very comfortably I might add. :woot: GP shift is now going to be in order for me though. HUGE thanks to Marc Perrone for setting up with me out there, as well as Derrick and Steve and whoever else I forgot Great seeing old friends and meeting new folks, including several girls even! Thanks to Cindi and Trevor and STT!
Great weekend!! The tractor was doing great especially Saturday morning, wow everything was clicking, now what happened in the afternoon is another story! Got going pretty good Sunday afternoon, great to see everyone, look forward to June, damn have to go a whole month with no Barber Be safe everyone see ya'll later.
What an absolutely awesome weekend! Kudos to the STT staff!! It was my first STT event and my first time at Barber. I was lucky enough to work with Kirk on Saturday and Rick on Sunday and they were both extremely helpful and encouraging both days. And I think everyone enjoyed the gummy bears Saturday night. JP more so than everyone else. LOL :bounce:
Had a lot of fun this weekend. My first time in A with STT and I dropped 5 seconds off my laptime down to a 1:40. I'm still braking too much. Not nearly up to winning lap times yet, but at least I won't be a roaming roadblock out there for the WERA race in a couple weeks. Smooth run event, thanks again. :rawk: Oh, and whoever that guy was in the green helmet that was hauling ass in A, holy crap you're fast! I'd give more description of who that was but that was all I got the time to recognize them.
That was Joey Pascarella.... :thumb: Daytona 200 Winner... Had a fun time running with you guys Saturday... I was too busy in Intermediate to play in A... Man it was Hot... Thanks everyone for coming out...:thumb:
Had a ton of fun at my first event back after almost a year and a half off from working with STT. Took me a bit to get back in the groove of coaching, but It is like riding a bike Great to see some new faces, and be back with some old friends. Event over all was a great event. Too bad it has a mar on it
