If your talking about the guy who ended up on top of the hay bails in the novice group on Sunday, he seemed fine. Didn't go to the hospital that I'm aware of. He was camped next to me, seemed a bit shaken up but moving good and everything, thank god!
Shelly, awesome party! Sorry I bugged out so early. My eye was so torn up from getting dust in it that all I could do was lay down and I ended up missing Monday because of it as well. Didn't mean to poop out on you!
Anyone know if the CR (#5 jersy) who went down in the novice goup on monday is doing ok? I was on a red hyper, he passed me on the south course and went down right in front of me. I was able to avoid running over him as but it was really close and pretty scary. I asked a few of the other CRs after the session if he was alright and they thought so. Who ever you are I hope you are doing fine. joe
Last I checked, I heard he was ok. Nice job keeping your cool and maintaining a line that didn't follow them off course. To many times people are startled and they stop turning and run off course. (Target fixation) Right Bart
I just want to give out a HUGE THANK you to STT. Saturday was my first time on the track and it was an amazing experience. The coaching staff was great and as the day went on, I was getting passed alot less frequently. I only started riding in April, but I felt like I learned more in that 8 hours, than the previous 1500 miles I put on the bike. So thanks for being so welcoming and I am looking forward to my next day on the track for sure. Consider me hooked!
I second winger's comments. Although not my first time on track; it was my first time back for 2012 with a new track to learn and a greatly changed bike. Thanks to the staff (Steve, Steve, Chris) for coaching me and giving me the confidence to ride in the A group again! Winger: Welcome to the addiction... next time you are on track, you need to see Ken for suspension adjustments - worth every penny.
I want to give a big thank you to STT and all others that have made this an extremely memorable event. This was my first track day and I will not lie showing up by myself and without really knowing anyone was somewhat intimidating. After arriving I didn't even need to ask for help with taking my bike off the truck, This really shows to me how kind and helpful this group truly is. Throughout the two days I was there everyone was willing to help if I had a question or assistance with anything, whether it be the STT staff or just individuals that I had the opportunity too talk with in the day. I extend a special thank you to Nick for helping with any questions I had about the event it self and putting on a memorable event for a first timer. The novice program was fantastic and helped me dramatically as a rider. I have learned more with the help of Terra my instructor for the day than in the last two years of riding. If anyone is on the fence about going to the track you will truly be in great hands with the STT group. I know I will be attending more events this year with STT and couldn't be more excited for it!
Also wanna chime in and say thank you to all the STT staff for making my first track day such a fantastic experience!! You guys really went above and beyond and I coudnt ask for nicer and more knowledgeable guys and gals to learn from!! Also wann thank Grasshopper for letting me use your boots man!! Tried to find you sunday but i guess you had already left, left the boots with an STT staff member. Thanks again:thumb:
