WTB 2006/2007 GSX-r600 or 750 we're interested in 2008-2010 as well, but only if parts are interchangeable w/the 2006. (my research thus far suggests matches w/the later year models) any info appreciated. we'll take street or track-prepped. bham area, willing to travel for right deal. thanks.
yes. it makes sense to have the same bike for parts exchange. she went down at jennings and the repairs on the honda are going to be $$$$
Is she ok? I believe they changed the GSX-R600 in 2008, although a lot of stuff is probably interchangeable.
Pretty much anything from 06-09 is interchangeable. 2010 was the year Suzuki didn't bring a model into the US and 2011 were the totally new designs.
Emily is fine. bad sprain in wrist ligaments, sore/bruised back, sore neck. better every day. the huge poster I got from us129 helped!

Yep , took most of the day too. Went to the mall in Huntsville while we were there. She is happy with the bike. They rebuilt the forks, new TPS, new mirror, new foot peg and changed shift linkage to a shorter stroke. She is thinking about bringing it to the track . And I forgot to add in the last post . . . .please. . . .

I found a couple 2006 gsxr's for sale in michigan for about 3500. Mostly stock. That sounds cheap to me, is that a good price and do those make great track bikes?
I haven't really dug in, but so far: both clip on bars (woodcraft) throttle cables gauge cluster mount master/lines/res some electrics on rt side serious bend in rear wheel clutch cable probably left rearset (OEM) most of plastics so, it's sitting for a while. I'll repair it gradually.
