I guess I'm going to head down Saturday now to hang out and watch the races on Sunday. Then just chill out Monday down there. I will be doing the track day on Tuesday and then racing WERA on Wed. And Thurs. After the races, I have to shoot up directly to Grattan, before the gate closes at midnight. It's a 6 hour drive from Mid O, I will have to haul ass. I will be coaching Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Grattan. It's going to be a busy week
We'll be there. Sunday night through Thursday. Really happy WERA is back racing at Mid-O. Awesome track.
I will be arriving Monday afternoon sometime, the wife and I are doing the TD on tuesday and then JJJerry and I are racing Wed and Thurs. Party Friday and then the full 419 Team will be racing all weekend. Cant wait. Hey Sticky when are you coming down? Should be some fast novices in house for the weekend, not sure about wed and thurs.
Off-topic but Mid-Ohio related - how are the Mid-Ohio run trackdays? Planning to meet a buddy from Virginia there either for end of Aug or end of Sept dates. Is there STT-like structure vs. the track being a free-for-all within your group?
Way too logical of a solution - I was hoping more for a few second hand opinions from people who know a guy who'd been once.
Hey I'll be down Tuesday through Thursday, I don't think Im going to be able to race over the weekend :/
If weather is nice, I am also planning to head down for track day on Tuesday and wera races on Wed and Th.
Grids should be good for the weekend 20 ish pre registered on XTRM and there are 6 more people that I know of that havent registered yet.
Well, I called today to register for the track day with no luck. I will be there just for the races. Since it will be my first time at Mid Ohio I will need to follow somebody to learn the lines before the actual race... Any volunteers?

Thanks Rick. I never did find a good line thru turn one and it cost me several positions on every start. Overall I very happy with how things went. Got a 3rd out of 14 in Novice B superbike after starting from the back since I had no points. Also took aprox 4-5 seconds off my best lap times:thumb:. I've got to say I never seen such a fast group of novices!:wheel: Anyway here's the last race I have recorded. There's a crash in this one, dude tucks the front at 13:50 min. That was me crashing. Pushed a little too hard trying to track down the guy in front of me on the last lap. Started dead last in the grid (26th) in a two-wave start and had worked my way through the field to 8th. I was having a great race and should have been happy there, but wanted that one last spot. I'll upload my video from the race tonight, but unfortunately the footage stops about 20 seconds before the crash. Anyways, good racing man. As you'll see in my video, you're a hard guy to pass.
