This is probably a long shot but I'm looking for someone to to work as a dedicated coach with me in A group at Barber. I haven't been to Barber in a few years and I'm looking for someone to lead/follow and work with me. I have looked into the Disalvo RideU but they don't really do much on track coaching. Looking for someone who is familiar with the track and runs good times. I'll gladly provide monetary payment for time. I'm on a Yam R6 and run mid-pack A generally. I have no idea what my times are at but I'd like to be in the low 40's Please reply to post or PM me if you are interested or if you know someone who would be.
FYI no payments allowed.... Only in Adult Beverages at days end.... I would love to assist but am going to Road Atlanta the week before instead.. There will be a couple coaches to work with in A.. Just grab one after the riders meeting.. I think the crafty AMA veteran Dave Brooks might be back in the saddle by then.. I would recommend him if he is there...
We should have a coach or two available that will gladly help out for sure. We do not allow any non-STT staff to coach at our events, nor are coaches allowed to accept any monetary compensation for coaching at our events. best, t
Welcome back to Barber. I have found the coaches in A helpful on track and accessible for further discussion in the pits. No need to pay one of us psychos to help you when the coaches will assist at no additional charge! If you want a little help getting your head around Barber ahead of time, there are plenty of videos on the YouTube machine; just search Barber STT. I posted three from a couple weeks ago from my R6 running the times you seek. Looking forward to seeing you at the track in August.
My YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCV3MbMERphflCWMO8w-2qCA Todd Baldwin has a good R6 Barber video at: Then, there is Jake Lewis: I hope you find these helpful. I'll be at Barber in August, and I hope I get a chance to say "Hi" in person. PJ
