Hi everyone. Joined the forum because I want to participate in a few track days in the US and hoping to get some feedback from all the track junkies. Looking at doing Barber. What months are good with respect to weather. I'm not good with a lot of heat or humidity? I was thinking early May ... yes? A little about me ... I've been riding since 1987 on the street. Started track 2 years ago and it's waaaaaay addictive. Started out on an SV650. Moved up to a Daytona 675R. Just purchased a "new to me" S1KRR for the track. I am NOT fast, but I'm smooth. Still a work in progress :woot:
Welcome! You should try Grattan. Pavement does not look good on the vids or pics, but it's great track and you will have so much fun there, it's even closer to Toronto

FYI these two Barber dates will sell out very quickly. 2015 Sportbike Track Time Schedule: March 21-22: Barber Motorsports Park - Leeds, AL April 11-12: Barber Motorsports Park - Leeds, AL Jennings is also a fun track to start the season at but I don't see any STT dates there in the spring. Have fun.
Thanks for the info. Looking at going to Barber in May. Waiting for the Sportbike Track Tiime site to go live to register for it. We were at Jennings in December. Looking at going in Feb, Mar and April. Can you tell this is a crazy addiction for me !!!:wtf:

Why not choose a Track closer to Toronto in the NE USA Or Michigan for example. I just joined and ready for my first Track day. Thus I only know the tracks from Google searches. I know it's very hot and humid in the South for sure.
