This will be the first time in seven years I will not make the September Barber event. As some of you know my beloved Buell 1125r had cardiac arrest in the third session coming out of turn 8 at Barber earlier this month, got her back to the house used some home remedies, she started to respond but had a relapse. Had to admit her into the shop Thursday, her fluids look good and are at the proper level, she is resting comfortable, test begin Tuesday, she has been a great bike, hope she pulls through in a short cost effective manor soon. May just have to bring the 1190 in October. Ya'll have a great time, be safe, hope to be back out there next month.

I take it the fuel pump wasn't the solution then. That bites. Hopefully it's something simple and they can get you squared away quickly.

The fuel pump was going bad, bench tested it at the shop pressure was down, but still having issues, hoping it is something simple too, like the ECM or sensor.

Well I still don't have a diagnosis on the problem with the Buell, so I have decided to take Steve P's advice and bring the EBR 1190, kinda excited, kinda nervous, she has a whole lot more POWER than the 1125, glade she has traction control think I will be needing it!
Can't wait for Barber!!! Woo Hoo!!!

By the way Keith I will need a bunch of red tape!!! lol

The beast is ready!! Fresh oil, brakes bled, sbs race pads, Dunlop N-Tec slicks, coolant drained and changed with Engine ice, turn signals, mirrors removed, headlight taped, cleaned and polished. Now I hope I am ready to handle this thing!!!

Finally got time to dig into the Buell and see what the issue is! The Buell rotax engine uses a dohc set up with finger followers to open the valves, when I pulled off the valve cover I found both intake followers n the rear cylinder broke, cams are in great shape so this should be a simple fix, it will take about 15 min to replace the followers while it will take 4-5 hours to tear down and put back together.
