Used, but not used up. Any age, any brand will do. 150 - 165 wide. Need something for the Motard to ride the pavement.

    Whatchu got?

A lot off guys are now starting to run 180s because the 160s are starting to get scarce. it seems a GSXR wheel and 180 size Michelin tire are no weight penalty, and the handling compromise is something people are used to from riding 600s.

Lots of new LW bikes showing up with the 160 rear, like new SV650 and KTM Duke 690. Let's hope the popularity of these rises and tire manufacturers will keep making the 160 size affordable. Too bad the real race bikes that used this size (2-stroke 250s) are dead.

I have a new set of Avon rain tires (120/160) that I bought a long time ago, but have always been stored indoors and are still soft. They are DOT approved for Motards. They are the AV49 front and Av50 rear. They are currently mounted on SV rims, but can be removed easily as I have a tire changer. I paid over $350 for the set, but would let them go for much less. I think the date codes are 2008 but, as noted above, are in great condition and would be fine for public road use. I'm in the northern suburbs of Chicago. I'll PM my email and phone number to you.
