I'm looking at getting a full system for my bike and I found a Akrapovic. However, the seller says it is missing some springs. I'm assuming I can just get springs and attach them if it's that big of a deal. Or, do these exhaust require special go fast springs that you can only get from the special go fast store?
You can order exhaust springs from the manufacturer or likely find them on ebay or other online sites. no big deal.
Well now I'm stuck between a 2 bros or Akrapovic. 2 Bros is 600 and I have an extra slip on but aAkrapovic is better.
Quality...... I have installed a few on other peoples bikes.... Seen a few blow apart at the track and the quality in the contruction.. welds.. And Materials do not compare to Yosh, Graves, Akra or Arrow... You get what you pay for I guess....
2 bros is a lotta noise and nothing else really... gains are minimal for the cost.. I had a full 2bros on my old CBR I bought used had the receipt that it was just put on 3 weeks before I bought the bike ( seller had financial issues) had to be repacked in 6 months and the y pipe that replaced the collector started to rust and tarnish after a year.. mind you the bike never saw rain. ive had 3 akras now... by far the better exhaust of the 2
I'm sure I'll get some springs for nothing. Hopefully. If I see you before I do though I'll definitely get them from you. I've had my 2 bros sslip onffor 5 years now and it sounds ok, but that's it.
Sadly Two Bros used to be quality stuff, then was sold to china and now is the cheapest mainstream pipe on the market.

Hmm do you have one of the very shortest ones? I also have a few I could send to someone but don't have any of the smallest ones needed for the can connection. Had to just use safety wire in the meantime.
