Looking forward to seeing how the new electronics and tires affects the championship this year. From what I'm reading it will be tougher for the riders to rely on the new electronics to go race distance. Seems like this will be toughest for the Honda riders with that engine not being subdued electronically. Expecting a lot of crashes from Marquez. Also thinking this will favor Rossi as the man who has more experience on various bikes and with different tire manufactures. That's my hope anyway....Forza Rossi!! Thoughts?? P.S. Here's a good 600 SS race from Imola.....
I'm with you on most of that. I really like ViƱales. He looks like he is doing very well. Is this due to such a short time since he was on a Moto2 bike that had simpler electronics? This should be an exciting year!
I'm hoping the new rules level the field. I'm sure we'll see some different riders on the podium but I think that Rossi vs Lorenzo will be a continuation from last year unless Marquez dominates. Looking forward to the season.
I have never been much of a Pedrosa fan, but after the way he came back after the arm pump surgery and especially after his gentlemanly actions when the war between Rossi and M.M. was in full swing; I'm liking him more and more. I'm not saying he will win it, but I do like him better than I did.
I agree. Pedrosa was a class act during the whole Rossi/Marquez incident. If Rossi doesn't win it, I would much rather see Pedrosa win over Marquez or Lorenzo. Lorenzo was starting to grow on me during the 2015 season, but the way he acted after the incident really pissed me off....
JL Repeat of 2015!!! I love the way he rides (could care less what he acts like) VR will always be in it, so there is always that chance for him to get his championship. I do like DP, always have (since his 250CC days). Honda will have it figured out by race day, after all; they're Honda ($$$)! So I think MM will also be a factor.
Marquez or Rossi FTW! Just as long as Lorenzo doesn't win, I'm happy. And I hope Stoner does a wildcard race at Phillip Island and takes the win on the Ducati!
Gravel Cal, that's a good one! I don't have much care for him because he bitches about the bike or team too much. Rarely does he take responsibility for a crash or poor results. With all the talent out there, I'm surprised he's still at GP level. I respect all of the riders, they deserve that, but I don't like whiners!
Trying not to do a spoiler alert here....but.............Good race this past weekend. The Honda's look strong, and the Ducs look even stronger, Yamaha looks the same as last year. But I've gotta pull for the old guy VR!
Goooooodness! What a race this week! Those Ducs are a force this year, and i'm really stoked to see Suzuki up in the mix. I have to agree though, im pulling for a 10th championship for 46
But in typical Bautista fashion...can't go a weekend without crashing into someone! LOL EDIT: Well crap...video was removed :/...probably cuz Bautista was too embarrassed! lol
Yea, Bau likes to hit people. But people are fair game in pit row! I was so excited to see Mav in the podium. So happy to see Suzuki clawing back. Stoopid puddle! Stoopid gravity! Oh yea, almost forgot....Go VR46!
And this is why those winglets should be banned (or at least modified to break off at a certain threshold - but I vote banned):
