SOLD. I am putting my GSXR up for sale. I am picking up a VFR this weekend to finish building a track bike out of, so I would like to make some room. 28,XXX miles. Previous owner had scratched up the right side fairing a little and messed up one of the decals, so I peeled it off. You can see the empty white spot on the right fairing in one of the pictures. -The engine/trans is all stock, and I performed a valve adjustment in fall of 2014 at 27,500 miles. New spark plugs and K&N filter at the same time. -The previous owner had put a new chain on it (520 conversion) right before I bought it in July of '14. I think it is down one tooth in the front from stock. -Exhaust is all stock. -Rear shock and fork are stock, except for Racetech fork springs (They are 1kg/mm). I replaced the fork fluid with 10wt Maxima racing fluid and recharged the nitrogen in the rear shock last year. -It has a power commander III. -Front brake pads are EBC EPFA pads. -Galfer stainless steel front brake lines -Front master cylinder was replaced under a recall by Suzuki in fall of '14. -I have been using Rotella T6 oil and Suzuki OEM filters for oil changes. -Tires are Dunlop Q3 front and rear, and have 2 track days at Blackhawk, and 3 1/2 at Road America on them. Those are the only track days I've ran with the bike. I have the title for the bike, it is a rebuilt title. I have never registered it. The bike is located in Friendship, WI. Selling a GXSR750 to make a VFR a track bike? Don't get me wrong bro do what makes you happy and comfortable to ride...but I don't get it. Not that you owe me any explanation! :lmao:
I have been riding VFRs for the last 13 years. I am very comfortable on them and have a good amount of spare parts. Plus I think it would be a cool project to try to make it almost as fast as my GSXR with some motor work and a weight-loss program.
I put it on craigslist, and have had about 1,000 emails asking if it is still available. 99% of them probably are bots though.
