Exactly right. I dropped the compressor years ago but it's still on the list to remind me to grab the $20 bicycle pump.

I'm going to start packing tampons if I keep riding like I did at Barber.

Replace duct tape with Gorilla Tape. Nothing sticks better.

Ah stop being a pussy(lol, get it).
This being your first time at a new track I can understand you being disappointed but everybody sucks when they go to a new track. I find it takes me at least two full weekends to become comfortable at a track.
Also it doesn't get any easier to learn a new track than at an STT trackday. You've got coaches there waiting to show you the lines. Just wait till you show up at a new track racing, you get two practice sessions and then GO!
    Good luck.

Don't know about RA but going alone can work. Having someone with you is always a plus both for the extra set of hands as well as sharing the enjoyment of it all. Grab someone if you need help loading and unloading and make a few friends.

It's totally doable alone. I'm on my 5th track day and did all of them alone. That said, with the community being so friendly, you are never really alone at the track.

If you are at Autobahn on Sat, let me know. I'll be there. Dark green SV650 with white body. Track bike.

I've always gone solo, and will be hitting up Grattan solo this Sunday for the first time after a 1.5 year hiatus.

The best advice I can give is to walk over and introduce yourself to your neighbors right off the bat. Everybody I've ever been pitted next to has been super friendly... I was able to go a long time without ever buying an EZ-up simply by striking up a conversation with whoever I was next to and hanging out under their's.

I like to have a printout of the track to study between heats.
