No Kick Stand now what?!

    Yep, that is something that varies by org. So everyone has to read the specific rules of each org before riding with them. WERA requires all side stands be removed.

    Buy something like a baxley front wheel chock. Ride the bike into the chock. Get off the bike. The chock will hold it up no problem. Once you get settled, simply get the rear stand under the bike and pull the bike out of the front chock. Then slide the front chock out of the way and put your front stand under the bike.

    Been doing it for years this way.

    Just never lean it against someone else's trailer. Saw someone to that last year and he got a pretty good lecture. ;)

    i just put my rear stand exactly where i need to when i take the bike off it and when i back my bike into my spot again the stand is right there, hold the bike with one hand and my body and put stand on with other hand

    Great info for this noob doing my first track day tomorrow at RA. I think solo. Does RA rent umbrella girls? Mine has to work.

    Put the stand back on. Done! I had a bike once with no side stand, (was removed by previous owner), and it drove me nuts. I was instructing, so I couldn't pull into another pit to have a conversation with a rider, nor could I hop off my bike at pit out without leaning it agains the wall. I couldn't park by the classroom, nor could I stop by the restroom. The damn things are there for a reason and come in awfully handy!
