I've been a forum member for over a year, did my first track day today with STT at Putnam. It wasn't my first but did learn a very nice foot positioning trick which did elevate an issue I've had with a problem I've had with my leg's but I digress. Being my first day started in Novice, by end of day Intermediate. So a huge thanks to #1 Jason, and I'm so sorry forgot #4's name. I was also very humbled when Nick asked for all veterans to step forward and was thanked for my service. We didn't serve for accolades, but to give back to the Greatest Nation ever conceived, listening to the National Anthem started my day off great.
Glad you had a great time! This was my 3rd time at Putnam in the last two years but my first with STT. The first two times were not bad but STT is my favorite track day organization and I have primarily ridden with them for the last year and a half both North and South. Nick up north and Trevor down south are great at running safe, organized and fun track days along with all of the instructors. I also like that Nick takes the time to recognize our our military veterans because he is absolutely right! We sometimes forget the awesome privilege of living our lives in the greatest country on earth and what the individual human cost is. Thank you for your service Mark! I'm proud to be a STT member and look forward to seeing y'all agian at Autbahn in a couple weeks!
no need to thank, though we appreciate it! You did the work sir! I merely helped adjust a few things and punted ya to next group, your riding got you there. I believe Danny was #4 on Saturday(could be wrong) congrats again!!! glad you had fun
OH, hope to make it to Autobahn or Gratten anyone passing by Indy and has an open spot. I'm more than glad to cover the gas completely and split a hotel room. My normal ride isn't open to go for a bit. .
I am headed to ACC on the 30th as well but a little further north. If it doesn't work out with multineer give me a shout and we might be able to work something out.
