This year (2016) we had three weekends.....one at the end of May, one in mid July, and one in mid Sept. I would suspect that we will be pretty close...schedule wise next year. Hopefully they will expand and add a few more, I love that track.

Yea, I've had my bike a few years and I can't wait to do a track day. NCM just happens to be the closest one to me. Do they have something like a novice training session for peeps like me?

STT holds the best Novice training.
A ton of class time between sessions to learn basic fundamentals. After the class time, hit the track. Rinse and repeat.

During lunch, they typically have a body position training class. This is a must if you are struggling with BP or want to define certain BP area's or have questions.

If you are looking for additional help (lines, BP, entry speed, exit speed, etc..) beyond classroom training, grab an instructor and ask.
Just for clarity......I always grab a instructor whenever I want to tighten up a certain aspect of track riding and it helps tremendously. Last time out, an instructor helped my with my lines and pace and I was able to shave almost 4 seconds off my lap times.

Don't expect to set lap records when you come....... Just enjoy yourself and have fun. That's what its all about.

Yea, I don't anticipate setting any track records on a 2004 buell lol.
Just looking to have fun and improve my ridding.

STT's schedule for the next calendar year normally comes out in January (as we all wait with baited breath)...

If you don't want to wait for next season, there are still a few left (Barber and NOLA are always awesome tracks). Road Atlanta was this weekend.

If you get bit by the trackday bug, you won't be worrying about how far away they are :)

I believe Barber and RA are sold out. Still have Nola and Jennings.

Yes, and they have one of the best lead instructors. Shawn Gosselin is an excellent teacher, as he knows how to convey his teachings to the track in a way that anyone can understand.

    The man doesn't lie.

You'I'll be surprised how overwhelming the track is at first. STT does an incredible job with their novice course. You'll quickly get past feeling overwhelmed and start dragging knees before you know it.

Be patient, listen to the CRs, and don't be "that guy" (seriously).

Bring on the Buell. I've been running my 03 xb9r and it does pretty well. Wish it had more top end speed, but we keep up alright everywhere else.
