What's the best camera, with sound included do you guys & gals like best I'm reading reviews and want to buy one. Also does anyone have the new Nikon 360 key mission that looks interesting, but I kind of want a bullet camera, but do they have good 4k ones that have sound also, and I would like it to be shock and waterproof, and will it stand up to the vibrations of a bike running at 12,000rpm???, thanks any knowledge is appreciated
The new GoPro cams will do 4k no problem. Sound is a whole other ball game. If its a real concern, and external mic with some creative mounting would do it, but i'd just go with camera sound. Get a "wind buffer" add on for the gopro case and you'll get workable sound.
I have a GoPro and I just edit in music for my videos since the sound quality isn't that great without an external mic.
I tried using my GoPro Hero 4 Black at 4K this past year but it would just overheat after 5 minutes or so and shut down. Perhaps if it were mounted without a full case it would get enough airflow and not overheat. I switched back to 1080p (probably could have used 2.7K). Quite honestly, I was like you and wanted 4K. But when all was said and done, 1080p is fine, especially at 60 or 80 fps. While the detail of 4K might be nice, it is far from necessary and the problems it creates are just not worth it to me: overheating camera, battery drain, memory card filling up (remember, we're talking about a whole day of sessions, and in my case normally 2 or three days in a row), and then just the file management headaches I have to wrestle with later on my computer and storing these large files. In the end, I happily gave up 4K and am content with 1080p @ 80fps. YMMV of course.
I've been REALLY impressed with the Yi Camera 2: https://www.amazon.com/YI-Action-Ca...F8&qid=1479475693&sr=8-4&keywords=yi+camera+2 It uses the same sensor as the Hero 4 Black, but has better battery life and a touchscreen. I picked up 2 extra batteries with a charging base and am all set for a track weekend.
