Been a long time since I been to barber, but had one question. Driving down Friday and was curious if it is possible to get to the track Friday afternoon and setup pit area and drop off the trailer or is Saturday morning the earliest we can arrive?

Staff will start going in at approx. 5pm +/- a few minutes, then after the staff has gone in, everyone else will be able to enter the paddock area. You must stop at the Porsche building and get your wristband and then you can drive in and set up or drop your trailer and leave. Once you have your wristband, you have 24/7 access. If you arrive after 9pm and the Porsche building is closed for the evening, you'll have to wait until Sat. morning to get in.

5:30PM CST Friday is when you can get in..... Park in the line at the main entrance at the first stop sign to wait... DO NOT go to the Museum and Park at the Museum...There is still construction going on with limited space up there..

I hope follow up questions are OK...

I take it the paddock is a secure area to leave a trailer overnight?

Also...when we park in the main entrance line to wait, will someone come out to us? What paperwork will we need, if any, to get our wrist bands?

Thanks for the heads-up on CST...I'm driving SE from Indiana which is EST...I have an extra hour to drive down apparently!

The Pits are very very safe with 24 Hour moving security...and we have never had any thefts in 12 years there since the first Event nor has any other Org as far as I know.....There will be a security guard at the end of the road (Before the Museum) If your staff he will point you to Gate G... If you just passed a bunch of cars in line you will have to do a U Turn go back and park in line... @ 530 or so CST he will open the line to drive up to the registration box by the gate... Michelle will have you sign the waiver.... Pay for Power ect then your wristband is good for entry and exit all weekend 24 hours...No additional Paperwork needed...

Believe it is either $25 or $35 per day for power and the the same for camping.

Cash only as far I remember.
