I'm going to Jennings 10/11 and have not been there before, so I was curious what hotel y'all recommend. The pickings nearby appear to be thin.

Valdosta or camp.... Whatever you do DO NOT stay at the Scottish Inn off that exit... There is more DNA in that place than the whole decade of the CSI series.... Total shit hole...We actually had to sleep with the doors open it stunk so bad... We stayed there the weekend of Huricane Rita...last time I will ever get a room at the track... Unless its Putnam

I have stayed at the Days Inn across the road from the Hampton. It is OK as well. Clean and little cheaper than the Hampton.

yep Valdosa is where its at. That way you can head back to ur room shower and go eat in town as there are many choices to eat.

The Days Inn in Lake Park is pretty decent. Closer than Valdosta and they offer a discount for Jennings GP. The exit has everything you need...grocery store, a few good restaurants, gas, etc. Parking is a little bit limited so if you have a trailer it's probably better to go to the track first and unload and then just bring your vehicle to the hotel.

Days Inn Lake Park is very convenient to the track and much cheaper. I would say it's a mid level hotel but clean. The rate is $55.00 per night if you call them and book under Jennings GP rate - 229-559-0229
