I made sure to get my spot for the March Barber event, but a little slow getting the hotel booked. I was pleased last year with the Hampton but they tell me they are sold out. Just looking for recommendation for next best option that is clean. I have no problem sleeping in the trailer at the track, but my 70 year old father in law prefers I get a hotel room for him!!!

There's a Days Inn at the next exit east that I used to stay in before the Hampton with was clean and reasonable.

Might see if anyone else is looking. I've been checking out VRBO sites.
Several nice homes for rent splitting it a couple ways brings the price into or lower than a hotel. Just a thought.

If I can get my valve shims. IT's a possibility.

My ride is dragging his feet. Afraid I won't be making March. Wanted to before it got warm down there.
Let me see if I can push him a little. Would be sweet, I'm itching, a lot.

Yeah, the Days Inn Leeds is pretty close and price is reasonable when it's not a NASCAR weekend.

To my recollection, the motels a few miles west of Barber are not the nicest.

I often let Travelocity suggest ones up to 15 minutes out.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham SE/Liberty Park last time. It was plenty nice and actually cost a few bucks less than the Hampton across the street from the track. I would stay there again for sure.

Appreciate the responses. I looked at the liberty park options and think I am going that route. See you guys in a few weeks!
