I will be driving up on Saturday the 2nd, Watch the race on Sunday the 3rd and track day with STT on the 4th. http://www.roadamerica.com/buy-tickets/motoamerica-superbike-doubleheader.html Will be the highlight of my year.. What a track, last year was my first time. Hope to see you again E-van.
I will be up there to see the race on Sunday, and then i will be doing both days of track, never been hoping my 636 will hold up well for the weekend.
That track is the first and only time I made it into 6th gear.. pm coming your way so we can meet up and have a pint, shot or 5
I am planning on making the 10hr drive up from Kentucky for the Tuesday track day, but not go to the races the weekend before. I have family 30 minutes from the track and they will probably want to see the kids. Also, the first rallyx in the area in like 15 years is happening that weekend too, and I want to make it a riding/driving weekend for me.
Hope you find me Monday then, which group you in ? I'll be coming from Indy, it's 5-6 hours so you must be on the south side of Kentucky. See you there.
Almost as south as you can get. I will be in novice. I have been at RA so many times, but have never been on track. I am kind of intimidated by the the straights, but really want to blast up the hill at then 5 at the same time.
I was also, first time ever made it to 6th gear on my bike. Putnam just isn't long enough LOL Hope you do Jason, can use all the help you can give. My ole body isn't made for that track but what a BLAST just had to go again. Figured I would watch the race on Sunday, didn't know about it last year. Watch how it should be done. Haven't got much faster then when you bumped me, just having more fun. LMAO.
It's a fun track for sure... 6th gear wide open on the looong sweeper makes me giggity We have a buddy who maybe racing that weekend so a little crew help then riding would be awesome it'll be a rough 3 weeks though from those 5 days... home for 3 then acc then racing mid ohio the following haha fun is the goal anyways!!! you want faster too? we can work on that
If they need help,, I'm game. On speedville thought I was doing OK,, running about 95 the wife saw on the radar. Asked what the A group was running 135,, can't imagine doing that big right hand corner at that speed. For a first time, I was happy stayed on the track. LOL. Really need a shock collar, body position sucks you shock me. The video E-Van did showed I was on a Sunday drive. Need to brake later and get my ass off the seat, dam arthritis in my right hip isn't helping.
Weather looks great i am just excited to get up to the track being there will for sure be fun been looking at videos on youtube per Indy and man they are fast, i just hope to come out with an undamaged bike and no low slides.
Great question, was going to ask. Would be great if we can bring the trailer on Sunday and leave it. The location were staying at has limited space and parking on the street isn't sounding great. Will be great to see your there Jason.
