You must enter gates at GATE #6 off Highway 67 to check in and sign gate wavier.
    • Road America is CT (Central Standard Time)**
    • Camping is available and you pay at the track for that at the same time you pay the gate fee
GATE FEES ARE DIFFERENT FOR THIS EVENT, DUE TO THE CCS RACES THAT WEEKEND
    ***READ BELOW***

    • Wednesday 6/27: Gates open at 6:30pm and CLOSE at 9PM (we MAY stay open to 10PM but cannot guarantee it), entry fee is $50 dollars per person
    • Thursday 6/28: Gates open at 7am and CLOSE at 9PM (we MAY stay open to 10PM but cannot guarantee it), entry fee is $50 dollars per person
    • Friday 6/29: Gates open at 7am, entry fee is $45 dollars per person
**Upon leaving RAM by 7pm on Friday 6/30 you will get $40 back. WHEN AND ONLY WHEN THE WRISTBAND IS TAKEN OFF AT THE FRONT GATE IN THE PRESENCE OF GATE STAFF

    Helpful facts for RAM:
    • Showers are available
    • Race/Pump gas is available, credit/debit cards only.
    • Concession stand open for lunch only
    • Limited electricity available and you pay the track for that at gate registration
    • **Registration and Tech inspection opens at 7:00am Wed/Thur and closes at 8:10am for the rider's meeting.
    • You must register first, before heading over to the tech inspection area. If you are riding more than one day, you only need to register and tech once.
    • There is a MANDATORY rider's meeting everyday at 8:15am. Everyone is required to attend, including spectators if they are in the paddock.
    Camping & Electric
    • RV, Toy Hauler, Trailer is $45/night with electric
    • Tent is $15/night without electric, $30 w/electric (includes vehicle)
    • Electric Solo is $20/day
*Electric is first come first serve basis with no expectations of placement
**Any person caught camping or using electric (by Road America) without paying will be ejected (by Road America) STT has no control over camping or electric

Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras:
    • All Gopros (or similar cameras) that is mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the CAMERA CASE to a point on the motorcycle. It doesn't have to be pretty, it just has to be tethered and secure.
    • helmet mounted Gopros (or similar cameras) are NOT ALLOWED at all on track.
    • NO Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) or DRONES of any type allowed at this event.

At 9am the Novice group reports to the classroom (after riders meeting) and Intermediate goes on track first.

    Intermediate Group(every :00)
    Advanced Group(every :20)
    Novice Group(every :40)
    rinse and repeat cycle.

CCS certificate class will start when riders meeting starts. If you are signed up for the class you need to meet with the instructor before the rider's meeting.

**Please keep your area clean and do not leave any race gas cans or tires or any other garbage when you leave. Seriously, Road America is huge about post invoicing stuff like tires, gas cans etc. It affects all orgs including CCS. Leaving items behind causes an expense that cannot be argued or negotiated. That added expense directly affects the entire riding/racing community (YOU) by increased pricing.

Hey guys... is there tire service there? I find myself in short supply of rubbers!

  5. This will be my first time at RA (second track day overall). Should I bring cash for the gate/camping fees?
Do I need to bring anything aside from ID, like a receipt or something?
    Can we start fires?
    (at the campsites)

I think I found a receipt in my van from last year where I paid with a card but I’d bring cash just to be safe. As long as you pre-registered and not in the last day or two STT will have your waiver in a book, sign it and take it to registration with your ID for your sticker. No campfires that I’ve ever seen.

I’ll be there, white van with Vesrah decals. Stop by and say hi. You’ll love RA!

  7. Thanks! I'll keep an eye out.

  8. Just called RA to confirm tent camping fees. Was told $50 for camper OR tent. Electric extra.

Also wondering about tire service re: times and prices. I'll be arriving thursday late afternoon. I'm bringing my own hoops and was hoping to get them mounted that day.
