When I started this adventure, I knew I was on limited time due to my deteriorating sight but I’ve managed to have a great time in the last 4 years, meet a lot of great people and ride 27 different tracks all over the country! Most of my time was spent with STT and I appreciate all of the staff and fellow riders I’ve had the privilege to be with. Time to move on so here’s phase 1, the bike and trailer. Please respond to the Craigslist ad as I don’t participate on this forum as much as I used to... https://stlouis.craigslist.org/mcy/d/2004-suzuki-sv650-track-bike/6646273331.html
I do have a spare SV650 that was for parts that I may take out to Raceway Park of the Midlands from time to time. They have low turnout on Sundays and it’s a long track so not much traffic. My biggest problem is coming into high speed corners with a gaggle of bikes. My depth perception has gotten bad enough that I feel I could be a danger to others if someone slows down in front of me while I’m concentrated on hitting my points. Hey, wasn’t that day we met wet in the morning and we had the track to ourselves?
