Question for the experts. I just picked up a 2018 R1 and have it mostly prepped for track days this weekend (first time on track with the R1). I have been using a 2015 Super Duke but wanted something with fairings and more aggressive ergonomics. I was just recently bumped to intermediate (on the Super Duke) so my pace isn’t all that fast. I have been running Pirelli Superbike SC2/SC3, but decided to run in novice (get used to the R1) and use a set of Supercorsas I ran on the track about a month ago with the Duke. I think the wear on the tire is fine but there may be some cold tearing going on. Do you guys see any issue with this tire? Would it still pass tech inspection? I may bring a set of slicks/warmers just in case. Thanks in advance.
