My wife has had some health problems this year and my track day budget has dwindle into hardly anything!! I'm going to swing one bundle weekend in and I can't really decided on which track. So, I'm looking for some help from you guys that have rode the four I have it down to. If it matters I'm a average speed intermediate on a 17 GSXR 1000.

    1. Road Atlanta. I have ridden there, but it was years ago and it was raining the whole time!
    2. CMP. Rode with STT there last year in July, just not sure about the weather that late in the year.
    3. Barber. Not rode.
    4. Tally. Not rode
    Thanks,
    Mark

If I only had one choice for a summer and hadn't ridden Barber that would be my selection hands down! Go a day early if you can and spend time in the museum. You won't regret it.

Best wishes for your wife's health!

Barber is unmatched of the tracks I've ridden. The whole experience there is on another level. Pricey, but maybe consider just riding one day instead of a weekend bundle and ride all 7 sessions, then maybe do the Museum the day before or after. It's also right next to a Bass Pro Shops and somewhat local to Birmingham if you wanted to get some good eats or find something else to do there before heading home.

    Tracks I've ridden:
    Tally
    Barber
    JenningsGP
Nashville back when they had a road course at the NASCAR track

If there were always available dates and money was no object, I'd ride Barber exclusively 2 or 3 times a month LOL.

I'd like to ride some more tracks like Roebling, Road Atlanta, CMP, etc, but with Tally and Barber 1.5 hrs from home, it's hard to convince me to drive 6 hours to another track.

    Good luck!
