Well, my short race career has come crashing to an end. The old body just doesn’t bounce back like it used to. I haven’t looked it over too thoroughly but it will need AT LEAST a new subframe, tail section and it appears the piece that connects the frame to the subframe will need to be welded. It has power but will not turn over but I’m sure that it’s just going to be something simple like a clutch cable or something like that since the bike ran flawlessly before the wreck. I really don’t think it’ll take too much to get it track ready again. I have a few spares but not many. Since I’m pretty banged up, it’ll be in Crystal Lake, IL for pick up only. I have everything you’ll need to go to the track for sale separately. Generator, tire warmers, fan, boots, leathers, back protector, pit bull pit stands, pop up tent, etc. NONE of the pit items will be sold until the bike is gone. Bike only $4,300/ OBO. It’s saying my pictures are too big of a file. So I’ll have to send you pictures separately
Oh Man! Heal up quick. I just saw you at ACC Labor Day Weekend when we were riding. Hope to see you back out there next season.
It was a pretty brutal wreck. When I woke up, I couldn’t move or feel my legs. When the feeling did come back, the burning and tingling in my extremities was unbearable. That put the fear of god in me. I miss being at track already but the fear of not being able to walk has put me in retirement. Thank you for your post!! Ride safe!
