    Greetings...

This is Mike with Bad Cat Racing Formula 1 Sidecar

We have a race at Willow Springs October 4th~5th and I happened to notice on the schedule that the Femmoto event runs the 3rd ~ 5th. (well, trackday on the 3rd)

Las Vegas Motor Speedway is only three hours from Willow Springs... Between the both of us we have enough vacation time in reserve to leave a day early for the race and stop by Las Vegas on Thursday. We could give the Femmoto crowd a chance to meet the only female Formula 1 sidecar driver in the United States as well as take taxi rides on the back of Sarah's Honda CBR1000RR powered CSR Formula 1 sidecar around the track with professional passenger lessons from yours truly.

We could throw in femmoto taxi-ride participants a Bat Cat Racing babydoll/regular womans tee as seen here on Sarah on our recent trip out to Miller Motorsports this weekend.

Sarah is currently ranked 4th overall in the National points standing and goes toe-to-toe against professional teams who have been at this sport for decades. I think this would be an excellent chance for the femmoto crowd to interact on and off the track with a true down-to-earth female superstar who proves that you can do anything with the right attitude and a good helping of cartoon physics.

I'm sure you have your own on-track photographers that could get shots of taxi-ride participants riding on the sidecars, and we have video rigs on our sidecars to video capture the action and post up later for participants to view so they can see themselves in action on the sidecars.

Please contact us if there is any interest in putting something together a small demo/taxi ride event for the femmoto participants October 3rd. bcr (at) badcatracing (dot) com

This 'event' could be done in the space of a lunch or a similar break, taking up a minimal amount of time.

    Thanks,
    -Mike-

    Followup...

There is a good chance we would also be able to bring out Bobette Burdick, championship female Formula II sidecar passenger as seen here with Mark on the 'Lucky 13' sidecar,

To talk about what it is like to be a passenger on a FII sidecar and provide professional instruction.

For best results, you should contact Bonnie Strawser @ bonnie@sportbiketracktime.com -she's in charge of Femmoto & can give you an answer or direct you to someone who can.
    Cheers,
    Lance

Yep, we have been in contact with Bonnie since making our original post.

Sadly for this round of Femmoto our race weekend falls on Saturday/Sunday and we won't be able to come out to the event. Friday was our only real 'free' day but Bonnie informed us that is a 'regular' trackday and most of the Femmoto participants are at the Saturday/Sunday events.

So we won't make it out there this event, but we'll remain in contact with Bonnie/Femmoto and sync our schedules to bring Sarah and some F1 sidecars out to a future Femmoto event for everybody to try out.

And if you happen to be in the Portland area, we'll be racing at PIR this coming weekend. (20/21)

    Thanks!
    -Mike-
