A couple things to note: The Thursday event is a regular STT trackday (Novice / Intermediate / Advance) The Friday event is a ProSchool STT event (Intermediate / Advance / Race Practice) Taking the ProSchool gives you a certificate to get a race license with WERA. It is available as an option for any of the Friday groups. IF YOU PLAN TO STAY FOR THE WEEKEND: WERA will take control of the track Friday evening - if you want to stay, you will have to pay their gate fee. I will work with them to figure out the easiest way to accomplish this. Stay tuned. Gates will open approx 5:00pm CST time Wednesday evening. Gates close at 10:00pm Wednesday night and re-open at 7:00am. You must be in the track by 10:00pm or you don't get in til the morning. Tally is in the CENTRAL time zone. There is a $5.00 gate fee for all persons 16 or older at this track. BRING SOME CASH WITH YOU. ALSO: When you come, you will need to pay the gate fee for this event ($5) plus the WERE gate fee ($25). If you leave Friday evening before 6pm, you will be REFUNDED your $25 WERA gate fee. Stickboy is doing tire service for this event! Marietta Motorsports will be there for suspension and parts needs. Sign-up opens 7am, closes for the day at 10:30am Tech 7:00am-5pm Please note some NEW tech rules regarding GoPro (or similar) cameras: - all Gopros mounted on a motorcycle must have a tether from the camera case to a point on the motorcycle. - helmet mounted Gopros are not allowed at all on track - in our novice group, Gopros are not allowed on track in the morning sessions - in the afternoon sessions they are fine as long as the above rules are followed. Mandatory rider's meeting at 8:20am both days - you must be there or you will not ride. Tech and registration are closed during the rider's meeting. No Lunch concession for this event - plan accordingly!!! Camping is free, some electric is available, you pay the track for that. Pets are allowed, must be on a leash at ALL times. Please "clean up" after your pets. Showers are in the silo. No fuel is available at the track. Small Jiffy Mart right by the track, many motels in Oxford/Anniston, about 15 minutes away.
