Hi all, I'm new to this forum, and I've never been on a track. But I am registered for femmoto in Vegas in 2007.

I'd like some general advice from some of you experienced gals.

    1) Will I get an information packet from femmoto before the event?

    2) Should I wear my leathers to the track or bring them? (I know, probably a really stupid question, but I don't want to look like a total geek showing up.)

    3) How do they fit riders on the demo bikes? Do I get to ride different bikes over the day?

    4) Are the bike venders able to make fit changes (like lowering)?

    5) How long is the day?

What else should I be asking?

I have a track equipment requirements list from the femmoto sight. Have they left anything out that you would suggest?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

    Liz

Sorry Liz for the delay in getting back to you.

You will get a packet via email with all of the manufactuer's release forms and additional information. Please print out, fill out and bring with.

Bring your leathers with you no need to wear them to the track.

Demo bikes work this way: You will visit each manufactuer and sign up for what ever you feel comfortable riding. Do to the limited number of models you will only be able to ride each model you choose once. With the number of manufactuers being there you will have plenty of choice to try different models. Please remember that it is first come first serve so plan on being early. If you are riding on Saturday it is better if you can be there Friday for registration. Sunday's registration for the bikes will be Sunday morning.

The bikes will be stock show room models. If you are concerned about height of the seats, don't worry we have spotters to launch you and catch you when come and go. The guys come in real handy at this.

The gates open at 7 am and we run to 5 pm. Saturday day night is the fashion show, raffle and dinner at the track make sure you sign up for this event. It is a definite must.

Bring plenty of water and your own shade. ie umbrella person or hat and sunscreen. It tends to get a little warm at the event with all the gear on. The manufacturers will have shaded areas where the bikes and goodies are displayed.

Look forward to seeing you there. I will be working registration all weekend please introduce yourself to me when you get there.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.
