I got my suit today! It looks really cool and it's TOO big. 8) I'll need to exchange it for a SMALLER size. Yippee! So I'm really only 2 times bigger than Jane!

I wore my femmoto suit this past week-end at Grattan. OMG I love it. It kicks my Alpinestar Stella suits butt. The fit and comfort of it was perfect. Anxious to see some pictures from Splitsecond to see how the suit looks in motion.

    A size 2 should fit nicely. I am 5'4" and 120lbs and fit into a 4. I couldn't get a size 2 over my ghetto booty.

I wore mine yesterday at Mid-Ohio. First 'off the rack' suit I've ever bought that doesn't need alterations for my female form. Very comfortable - no pinching or anything. It worked well on the bike in Advanced and well in the pits trying to figure out what gasket was letting my boot get lightly sprayed with oil. :(

I'm wearing it right now as I type this :D

The size 2 fits like a glove...I think it probably fits perfectly. I'm gonna wait until my hubby gets home to get his opinion on it and then he can take some pictures of me all geared up.

The suit really is beautiful. I was concerned a little about the length of the arms/legs because I'm kinda gangly, but the arms are PERFECT. The legs could be a little longer, but the boots cover up the bottoms so no issues there. When I first put it on I thought the knees weren't right for me and I was mostly having difficulties on the left side. I took the lining out and looked at the knee armor, put it all back together and VOILA! The knees went right to where they should be.

I'm gonna wear it around the house as much as possible for the next couple of days...track day is Sunday and we're running a Ladies Only session (thanks Texas Track Days!)

Oh yeah...I bought new gloves, A* GP Plus in the white & silver color, and they are a match to this suit 8) I wonder if I can talk The Man into getting some white boots now....LOL!!!

That suit looks perfect on you. Do you mind emailing me some of those pictures? I would like to add them to the Femmoto site, that is if you don't mind.

Anyone for that matter I would love it if I could get a collaboration of pictures up.

You can email them to janekholmes@yahoo.com

Have fun at your trackday Sassy. We need to get a woman's only even going up here.

I'll definitely email you some pics. Maybe some that are a little less 'silly' though  especially if they are going up on a website.

There should be a lot of cameras out this weekend so I can have some 'action' shots too! :D

    Femmoto Suit for Tall girls???

I am looking at this suit and was wondering if there are any taller girls who have bought it?

I am 5'9 and 125lbs, A cups 30" waist. thinking that they might be too short in the torso? Any advice?

You sound pretty similar to my body type - im 5'7 and 120 lbs.. in the A cub club lol..
the teknic prob wouldnt fit you right ... its big on my upper body just a tad and a bit too short in the legs... your extra 2" would kill you...
Not sure about the femmoto suit
If that doesnt work out, there's a guy that makes custom suits for women that are AWESOME.. can get stars or anything on them and great quality... name of the suit was heroic.. Met him at an STT day... really nice guy excited to be working with female riders

which Teknic suit do u wear? the mens or that white ladies one? no Femmotto for u?

I have tried on the Teknic chicane 1 pc in a 40 US. it fit realy good in the body width (arms slightly bigger), but it was way too short in the torso length and the legs were too short and couldn't do up the calf zippers either. 42 proly would fit better i guess but then be bigger in the body width..

i will look up that Heroic suit u mentioned. n i imagine he gets excited working with women in tight leathers...rrreowww lol :)

    thanks for the help.

    haha no problem..

I have the white 1 piece Ladies Viper....

I didnt get the Femmoto b/c I started my season in March at VIR before it was available... I actually got the new suit over nighted to me luckily, because i had my first crash ever 4 hours after I had it... just jinxed myself i guess lol b/c ive been riding on the track for 3 years, 1 of which is completely in A group - over 55 days! Make sure when you find the right suit you tip over in the pits or something first to get rid of the jinx lol

My hubby said to me (in the pits), "now get on the ground and roll around to get rid of the magnet". So, I did! Probably looked terribly funny, but what the hey!

    Buying on May 8th!

Spacing my purchases of track gear out over several months. I've committed to buying my femmoto leathers on May 8th and I'd like some advice:

    1. Does it matter if I join the Femmoto Club first or not?
    2. Has everyone found the sizing chart measurements accurate?
    3. Any advice about 'breaking it in' before my very first track day?

For size reference my jeans are a size 7/8, I'm 5'3" and pound or two under 140 and mostly muscle (read 'lean'-ish). Most my height comes from my legs. When I make my purchase I'll post what size I went with and details about how it fit (maybe even a photo).

    Re: Buying on May 8th!

I will respond since it looks like there hasn't been any yet.

You do not need to join the Femmoto Club first in order to get the suit. I do recommend becoming a member of femmoto since you get a discount when signing up for a track day.

The sizing chart could not be more accurate. My suit fits me like a glove. I was looking to switch suits this season to something with a hump on the back (BarnacleBill was unable to add one due to the patch on the back of the suit.......fyi to Bonnie to ponder adding a hump to future suits). You don't need to worry about a back hump on the suit being a beginer track rider. Anyways, the other women suits were mismatched in the measurements. I am curvy and have a booty, 5'4" 130lbs and the length of the suit and measurements couldn't be anymore accurate. I am sticking with the femmoto b/c it fits the way it is suppose too.

I broke mine in at the track. The butt was slippery on the seat of the motorcycle but that went away after some time. You could wear it around the house to break it in.

fyi- I wear a size 4 in the femmoto
