First trail ride of the season last night, and it was GLORIOUS! Did about 11 miles last night at one of my favorite local trails that had *finally* dried out. Forgot how much I enjoyed the dirt! I've been hitting the street pretty hard waiting for the trails to be rideable, but the street just can't hold a candle to a well-maintained trail. The 29'er was fantastic as well. I'm officially addicted to big wheels.
Nice! I cant wait for the trails up here at Michigan Tech to dry up. It gets too damn cold at night to get a good melt during the day. I went out with a street tire on the rear (for use on my indoor trainer), and with all the slick mud and snow I could hardly move. It was quite the workout, but Im just waiting until I can tear up the trails again.
