Hey STT Tech people, couldn't find this on the forums yet so figured I'd ask:

Seriously thinking about adding this to my bike to make oil draining a ton easier, and never have to worry about replacing crush washers. But the question remains: would it pass tech? There is a safety lever clip for the valve, and obviously since the valve itself is screwed in, it can be safety wired to not unscrew. So what do you think?

You can buy a lot of crush washers for $28.

oh you could easily safety wire it. It screws in just like the drain bolt, so just drill a small hole in part of it, and attach safety wire. But that doesn't matter if it wouldn't pass tech lol

and when the valve fails, and you cost EVERYONE at the track a day of riding because of a failed fluid holding item, and oiling the track... it wont be good for your future as a paddock family member. not to mention if it fails and causes you or someone else to crash, get hurt or worse. no one would feel good about that, including yourself.
