I'm on the DL myself for a few more weeks. I'm hoping to get back on two by the end of April. Not being able to ride is killing me.

    Heal up soon YouGuysRstupid!

I've only taken the SV for a spin on the streets one time so far. Basically we purchased it one weekend and track-prepped it, got new tires, new brakes, changed oil, etc. in order to be out on the track (for my husband, not for me) the following weekend! Since then it's been sitting in the garage still in track-mode with the tape on...plus the weather here has not been so good :(

I'm sure it's going to be a little different than my Gixxer. Powerband, seating position...but everyone I talk to absolutely loves the SV. I think it's going to be a perfect short track bike too, i.e. where you don't have super-long high-speed straights.

Short story, I was doing some tests for some LEO on a bike, the front end washed out from under me as I was setting up for a right hand turn. Knee took the primary impact with the asphalt and got a really nasty bruise. Gotta wait for the swelling to go down enough to bend more than 90 degrees now. Grand scheme of things, it's not serious at all, but it's put a major crimp in my very active life.

Docs tend to vary from very optimistic to very pessimistic. I've gotten different numbers myself. Biggest thing is to give your body the time to heal before starting to stress it again.

The weather here is just getting nice to finally ride more than just cold-weather short-hops! I've been riding the dual sports all winter and just got the Ninja un-winterized. Hopefully I'll be able to do a track day in September.

Hawaii. A great place to VISIT.

I've returned to Sweet Home Alabama!!

Hawaii's race track was closed, the traffic was miserable, and very unfriendly to motorcycles. Not too mention there is no place on Oahu to open up the throttle without smacking into the back of another 'object.'

    Glad to be back home....

It's definately paradise...just not for the ADRENALINE FIXED "Hands ON the throttle" kind of girl.

But the Mai Tai's, Snorkling, and Beach bound after a long day at work....FAB-u-lous!

...guess I could have started another hobby.......nah!
