Imho, I would go with white leathers. My current suit is mostly white, and I don't care about keeping it perfectly clean. But, I do care about being as cool as possible when it get to 85-90 degrees. Just my 2 cents worth.. :)

Your suit only gets as dirty as you let it.

Besides, instead of cleaning you should be leaning...

I promise I'll let you out on the track if your white leathers are dirty

:) it's the learning part that made me think of how fast they'll be getting scuffed up.

I bought my leathers in 2007 and i tried both on.
Yes, white looks better, but I decided to buy them in black.

Everytime someone walks by me in white leathers, it confirms that my decision was right :) White looks white only a few days...

Now, it all depends how many track days you plan on doing.
If you decide to buy the femmoto leathers, the decision is easy!

I clean even my black leathers fairly often, and they still look like new, even after 25 track days. (well, right now they're muddy...)

I didn't regret buying black leathers, and if i have a choice again, I will go with black leathers. I'm thinking about buying the femmoto suit, so that might again make the decision easier.

I will see if i can post some pictures of leathers like mine, in used and white, after the girl crashed in them...

    Yes
    and
    Yes

The white is still warm in heat, it *is* a leather suit after all, and not a bikini. :)

I'm a dirty pig and my Femmoto suit is filthy, but it cleans up pretty well. It still looks good in photos, heck, my 20 year old turd bike still looks good in photos. (the old rule of "looks good enough 50 feet away at 50 miles per hour")

I do have to remember to bring a towel to kneel on the ground when working on the bike. The garage floors at HPT were disgusting, and the swamp at BHF isn't so clean either.

If you fall down, any color leather will scuff if you go sliding across pavement. IMHO if you're falling down a lot, you're not doing it right. I mean it happens, and you should be prepared for it, but it's not like an everyday/event occurrence. That said, white really does show off the outline of a back protector really nicely if you land on it.

For sure don't ever paint your bike all white. *That* is a pain in the arse to keep clean.

    Wait a second...it's not a bikini ?

According to the motorcycle magazines i've been going through, most of those women are wearing a bikini...i just thought it had to be made of leather if i was going to be on the track.

(All joking aside...thank you everyone for the input. It was very much appreciated.)

    I have both.

I have a white Alpinestars Stella 2-piece and a black Joe Rocket supermoto 2-piece.

I wore the white ones 1 track weekend and they are already dirty from stuff hitting them from other riders or just scuffing up against stuff.

I wear my black ones mainly now - they are perforated, so they don't get too hot in the summer. And I've worn them on plenty of hot days.
