hello mates. Just introducing myself. I'm sure this is a recurring thread, but my turn to be a noob.
I'm looking to start my track riding this year. After being a race fan and motorcycle rider all my life I'm long past due. I live in the Marietta ga area, from what i have read Tally seems to be a good track to start on? I am still locating a suit ( thinking of going wth brand new AGV delta 2 piece or continue to shape for used?) but have everything else i need. Plan to start with my Super Duke and if all goes as i plan will want to get a trackday only 600cc bike by end of the season. I'm looking forward to learning and having fun, no ego here, just a old 45 year old dude who loves motorcycles and likes to ride hard.

Welcome to the forum and the addiction.
You sound a lot like me, lol. I started at 55.

This forum and the Wera forum are great places to get fantastic used gear. Just be sure of sizing.
Take a trip to Cycle gear etc and try several companies because sizes do change between them. (I found out the hard way)
Get the highest grade gear it will last not only from regular usage but if it goes down.
I drove down to Barber, wow what a fantastic track. Never been at Tally.
