Had to share this. My 30th birthday was this past weekend. My suspicions were confirmed when my husband pulled into a friend's driveway instead of a restaurant for "dinner" - a surprise birthday party. What I wasn't expecting was the baby ninja that was rolled in the door later in the evening for me to make into a race bike! :) A group of us have been talking about getting some 250s and making our own race at the back of a couple of classes with WERA this year. Now I get to participate! Whoo hoo! She's sitting in my garage in pieces right now as I go through and make sure everything is in order. I'm waiting for a few parts to come in to get it rideable, too. I'm excited!! :) I'll be bringing it out to a few STT days too, just to have some giggles.

This will be my first time racing. Did Bargy school last fall and am now trying to get ready for the first race at Tally Feb 9-10. I was going to prep my SV, but this 250 is just gonna be too much fun. Can't wait to take it to Barber - WFO into T1 & 2... Start small and have a blast, right? :D

    That's awesome!

Racing tiny bikes is the most fun ever. Not nearly as frustrating as riding a tiny bike at track days, since everyone else is on a tiny bike too - you're not getting run over by literbikes. Way less ego and asshattery to contend with as well.

    Sounds like a hoot!

There are at least two other guys prepping ninjettes, so I won't be alone :D Hubby wants one of his own too, so he can join in. I'm looking forward to it.

Like you said Jen, way less ego. They'll be more likely to laugh about "getting passed by a girl" instead of their panties in a twist.
