Hey ladies... Just signed up for the forum and figured this was the right place for an intro... I've done a handful of STT days now, (Autobahn, Grattan, and Road America) after having done a bunch with other orgs. over the past two years. Bought my first bike in spring of '03. Still a noob and not very fast, (the self-preservation switch in my brain is very much stuck "on") but it's been super fun. I've been using a slightly race modded Honda Hawk as a track bike, which I'm hoping to eventually buy off of the ex-boyfriend before he decides to "thin the herd" since he never rides it. Too many pretty Ducs for him to pick from and the Hawk is way too small. ...unless any of you know of a nice single girl who wants to do track days, he's a great guy. I can always resort to taping up my tired old street bike 'cos there's no way I'll be able to stay off the track for long, by far, of all my weird hobbies, (fire dancing, bowling, snowboarding, knitting, etc.) it's the most fun.
