Impact Armor. All custom fit stuff. And it isnt out of line with the rest of the industry in terms of price. They even modify the fit for women.

Alpine Stars Stella all in one upper body protector. Stylish, comfortable, zips up the front. I've had mine since 2006 - crash tested more than once. The product is washable and even looks good in the paddock!

The Knox back protectors rock. I don't think Tea ever got the chest protector she posted, but I'm curious to see one. I still don't use one. When the girls get too mashed down it's hard to breathe.

    I didn't buy one.

I tried one on, but my suit was too tight with it.
I think that this will add to some complexity when buying a suit. Either they'll have to make them bigger to fit the chest protector, or we'll have to buy suits one size too big. and we all know how that's gonna fit everywhere else...

Two weeks ago I got to crash test some of the armor discussed in this thread:

I have the Dainese Thorax Women's chest protector - the standalone one, not the one with straps. And I also have the Knox Aegix back protector, the one with 6 plates.

I locked up my front wheel and was sliding and tumbling on the asphalt (never made it to the soft grass). The chest protector kept the precious twins intact and the back protector flexed with me, staying put as gravity made me roll like a tumbleweed. No bones were broken and the only areas where I got bruises and swelling were not covered by either protector, ie, hips, buttocks, etc. I got the Medium size chest protector and I'm a size 34C if that helps you out :)

Oh, also... the Knox protector gives you the ability to cross the straps in the front and I use that to keep the chest protector in place when the suit is half unzipped between sessions. And yes, the boys will stare and probably want to wear it under their suit for giggles, lol
