New guy here itching to get his Daytona 675 on a track for the first time. I'm toying with the idea of riding the Monticello South Course on May 30th. Is that too technical of a track for a first timer? BTW, I am already signed up for two days at Talladega GP in July (I have family that lives nearby). Thanks for the inputs. The track has perfect surface with lots of grip. Its technical in the sense that you are always doing something, turning , braking, moving on the bike. The front straight has a top speed of about 115-120 so speeds should not be intimidating but it does have a lot of mid speed corners 3rd gear. Nice elevation also. Its a great track for a new rider, Thats exactly why STT kept it on the schedule for 2010.
