Hi, all.
New guy here itching to get his Daytona 675 on a track for the first time.
I'm toying with the idea of riding the Monticello South Course on May 30th.
Is that too technical of a track for a first timer?
BTW, I am already signed up for two days at Talladega GP in July (I have family that lives nearby).
Thanks for the inputs.

Monticello south is a perfect track for a new rider. The track has perfect surface with lots of grip. Its technical in the sense that you are always doing something, turning , braking, moving on the bike. The front straight has a top speed of about 115-120 so speeds should not be intimidating but it does have a lot of mid speed corners 3rd gear. Nice elevation also.
Its a great track for a new rider, Thats exactly why STT kept it on the schedule for 2010.

Definitely go- it will be fun and the current forecast calls for a strong chance of BBQ. _________________ Lance Lau, Offical BBQ provider of STT & Northeast Division Instructor.
