Yeah, I live just a few minutes from their shop but they were cleaned out! I called them up basically begging them to find some non-saleable inventory sitting around in a trailer or something haha. Emailed Ken, sounds like he'll have some :woot:
You bet... Lots of us around with plenty of time at the G-man, make sure to tap someone on the shoulder or wrestle a coach to the ground at Rider's Meeting. -Tom
My first trackday will be Sunday! I'm bringing a huge pitcrew/cheerleading squad, is there usually food available for purchase during the day?
I've been watching YouTube videos and in all of them I see cones marking approximate turn in,apex, exit points. Are these always there?
First time at Gingerman and first time doing 3 days in a row! Camping out, I just hope I don't freeze my buns off like I did at grattan this year
THANKS STT FOR A FANTASTIC WEEKEND!! Shelly -- super amazing job organizing the Pig Roast, that piggy was deeeeeelicious!! And your pasta salad, omnomnom!! op: I got SO MUCH HELP from coaches all weekend long... Andrew, Stuart, Steve, Adam and Big Lee, -- I can't thank you guys enough for all the help, the discussions, the on track instruction -- you're superheros in my book. I feel like a kid who's just returned home from camp -- missing my track-family already!!
They must have done something right... I followed you for about half a lap on Monday, and your lines were perfect! -Tom
Electric Eye. I don't have a link to their facebook, but they're here on the forums a lot. I ordered a CD for a friend and they warned me that delivery of the CD might take awhile, up to 2 weeks, due to their schedule in the next few weekends. I'm sure they'll post some photos for browsing before that, however! -Tom
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! :bounce: I could hug you for saying that!!!!! I was a disaster on Saturday, so that makes me feel really great!!
Kinda late on posting up but what a great weekend! I haven't laughed that hard in a long long time! The sumo suits were AWESOME, thanks everyone that participated! Cards Against Humanity, hysterical!!! Tons of inside jokes for years to come! The pig roast was yummy!! Thanks to Ed who cooked it! I'm making pork enchilada's tonight with some of the leftovers Now on to riding - Probably the BEST riding I have ever done, and the best I have ever felt. Can't believe I'm saying that either because I loved my Honda, but this GSXR is AWESOME!!!! HUGE thanks to Owen, Steve, Lee and Nick for towing me around and everyone else I got to play with. Had a ball with Steve for 2 sessions, he showed me some different lines and off we went. I do have video and am trying to get it up ASAP I haven't been to Gingerman in about 4/5 years and the last time I was there it wasn't good, I let the seams get to my head and was done by lunch :wtf: I felt I rode like the seams weren't even there this past weekend. They didn't bother me unless I blew a turn. Those Pop Shadow Decals, I swear they made me faster :rawk::rawk::rawk::rawk:
