I'm sure this will be posted but I'm impatient I guess... Will we have a suspension person there ? I know last time I came to barber y'all had marietta motorsports there, but I didn't think to take advantage of it, so I'm hoping y'all will have someone again. Also I bought an XT ultra timer, do y'all setup a compatible beacon for that or do I need to bring my own? Thanks
Huey will be there for suspension/parts/repair/jokes/and whatever else he can supply. Trevor has a a beacon that he brings to the events and therefore, none is needed.....in fact, you wouldn't be allowed to set it up anyway as it would interfere with the one beacon. BTW, it should be on rider's left, along the pit wall.
I'm stoked for this weekend! Wife's first track day ever on Saturday and STT Girls on Monday...and I finished some upgrades on my Superduke: Motohooligan Intake SAS delete Bodis de-cat PCV Is it Friday yet? Oh...still Monday.
You coming to Barber this weekend Rich? There is a much higher chance that it will be dry there rather than at your house! Oh, and I appreciate you not picking on the old and disadvantaged folks like myself!
Unfortunately not my friend, will however not be far away, we will be at Chateau Elan celebrating our 35th anniversary this weekend
Ah, very nice my friend, and congratulations! I don't know how she has put up with you for that many years......bless her little heart!
Me and 5 guys are coming down from Oklahoma and Kansas for the Sunday barber.. super excited! none of us have been there before! after watching some videos and getting idea of every ones pace, we decided, the last person to break into the 1:4Xs is buying dinner! haha hopefully thats do able first time out there. We'll all be in intermediate.
I would recommend all of you all space out and not ride together.... Just my opinion.... Barber takes many years to learn and the track is always changing year after year... I have been riding there the last 13 Years since the opening NESBA Day and I can tell you I learn something new every Month I go... Some of you will pick it up faster than others... However you don't need your group as first timers pushing each other....Your putting other people at risk.... Remember ... Every Turn is Blind there.... and there is lots to learn... Get with a Coach your first session and tag along... We have them in all groups... Have fun and come say Hi... We will be down in the garage... Marc
Agree!!! As it will be my first time on the BMP track, I will be looking to learn as much as I can form the CR's. Will be there Sat.
No, we arent a bunch of noobs to the track life, its just our first time this far away from home. I can assure you our little bet will have zero effect in the safety of others! We wouldn't dare risk other riders for a number on our lap timers. However we are excited to link up with some instructors who can help us learn the lines!
Totally agree...chasing a laptimer for a 1:40's (Certainly not impossible but quite a task for a first day) competing with your friends is a recipe for someone getting an ambulance ride...be careful
