Thank you very much :] Reading through these posts has me very excited to be part of this motorcycle community. I will have to try very hard to make it out to the Labor day event this year. Is that at ACC too? Plus it's probably the best excuse to try a new track :wheel:
"Hydration therapy" is why I went to Florida the week before ACC!!! Man I love having a reason to drink! Now back to the boat for some more therapy. I need to be ready for ACC.
Are there a good number of people that show up friday night and camp? I'm thinking that may be the better option rather than leaving here at 4:30 am to make it there by 7:00am for check in. If I decide to head up there on friday, is there an office i need to check in to or anything?
Some GPS will not get you to the track, such as my Garmin Nuvi. Make sure you have turn by turn directions printed out in case your GPS also gets lost.
camping is always better, leaves time for relaxing morning imo. Pay at front gate, any ? just ask around everybody is helpfull. See ya there.
Yaah I'm sure there will be lots off people camping, nice to set up the night before and not be in a rush in the am. You can't get in until you check in, you will see the bldg. Bring cash, it's $5 a day for entry. :thumb:
Ribs? LOL Okay but seriously, I can't think of anything you need to bring other than what you'll need at the track. And if you forget something, don't stress about it -- within 10 minutes of my house is just about every store you could possibly think to shop at, including a Harbor Freight :thumb:
Thanks!!! Hey K3, thanks so much for the extra tips! Very, very helpful. I would definitely not have thought about a few of the things you listed. And thanks for letting me know about your trailer -- I'll come by to say hi! Also, you are from Kankakee? That is my hometown! Live in ChiTown now though.
I'm doing well. I was actually in chi town a couple of weeks ago for fun. You doing all three days this year? I'll keep my eyes out for you.
