The karts are after the track day on Sunday, Nick will make an announcement and everyone will walk over together. You'll sign up, pay and go fast! Bring cash.
I know it an enduro race is there a minimum for a team? and is it only available to people riding that day, example: I am a member and riding that day but my friend might come along for fun is he able to race the karts? Thanks!
Nope, you can be your very own team. The fee is still $80. And it's open to everyone. I believe there are about 16 carts
Here is some footage of the karts and stunt show, not too much riding. Yep :tape2:
I can't decide if I want to race in a team or individual, what does everyone do? I think I'm more excited about the karts then the track day haha
I'll be there Sunday to spectate with the girlfriend =] will be back in June to actually ride the track. As far as that goes, better to drive there, or riding the street bike a good way to go as well?
If anyone needs a kart driver I may be down along with Eric Bruntjen. I have a little kart racing experience =) but havent raced in 2 years now
Do it with a team. If you haven't raced endurance kart before--it's exhausting. Especially after a day of track riding. You'll want to have some team members.
I'm in if you need someone. I was going to be looking to find a team at the track anyways. I've done a couple similar races and feel pretty confident in a kart.
Loaded and ready for the weekend at ACC, looking forward to a good time and making a lot of new friends.
Looking forward to the weekend at ACC with STT Hi Guys -- just wanted to say thanks to the folks in the forum. I have enjoyed reading through various posts throughout the forum, and everyone seems so nice and friendly. Thanks for being so welcoming! I am nervous but excited and can't wait to experience track days with STT and meeting you guys in person!
Just figured I'd re-ask, as I am just going to spectate, is it a better option to drive there, or is taking the street bike an okay way to go?
haven't made up my mind if i'm doing that or not, two twin sprints in one month is brutal on the wallet, not quite sure why they scheduled that, that way. It may be skipped by me but i'm unsure. as far as going to practice, i don't know when i can make it up there :/
Just pay attention to the weather man. Plan on having any beers? If so, probably not the best idea to ride unless you have one of those things called self-control.
