Lunatic Fringe

It's broken.

Looks like the bolt that holds the cam chain gear to the crank shaft backed out a ways allowing the gear to come off the splines on the crank. Cams stopped moving and the pistons didn't. I've got at least two bent valves and messed up lobe on one intake cam. Haven't taken the head off yet. I suspect it will require a complete rebuild. My plan is to take the engine out of the bike this week and have Bruce tear it down and tell me how bad it is and what it's going to cost to have him fix it. At that point I'll decide to either fix it or find a used motor on ebay.
