You will notice a 'wider range' of styles, riders, and speeds in the Intermediate group. You will have people that have just been bumped up and the Advanced guys that are just out 'taking it easy'. It was a little shock going from the 'fastest guy in Novice' to the back of the pack in intermediate. I was also a little concerned that I was too slow or that I was in someones way ... but that's what track days are all about, it's not a race. As long as you choose a line and stay with it, others will work their way around you without any issues. Where as in Novice someone might ride a little less consistent or make sudden changes - by the time you get to Intermediate you should learned that lesson!
Just noticed the dates,, resurrected twice. LOL. I'm fairly new to intermediate, really appreciate the coach's with STT. Hope to see you all at Barber next weekend, my first time there and only being new to intermediate a tad nervous because of the unknown. Looks like a fantastic track and I'm just hoping the bike behaves and the RAIN stops. OMG
