I've read other people's posts and I'm aware you have to evaluated by an instructor to be bumped up, which I have done. The last Time Stt was at Nola my coach told me I was good to bump but to go see Felix, but that was right when they opened up passing so I stayed in novice for that day. Since then I've been approved to ride in intermediate by Nola open trackday staff. When Stt comes back to Nola in September I wanna make sure I can sign up for intermediate. I've done 10+ track days. Who do I need to speak to?
Before you call Crystal, have you actually TRIED to sign up in Intermediate yet? It may well be you are already in the system. Never to early to reserve a trackday!
Trevor or Cyndi are the only ones (Southern Region) that can put you in for a bump...as far as I know. If I bump someone to a higher group, I usually have them go with me to see T man or Cyndi and they get the person's full name and input it into the database for whatever group the person has been bumped to. If they get a bum that day AND there is room available in the higher group AND their bike is prepped to the next level, then they can bump up that day. If either one of the two conditions above are not met, then they cannot bump that day....but should be in the system for the next event that they purchase.
It wasn't in the system. You were actually one of my coaches for the last Nola weekend on Saturday. I was on a red/white/black r6, with the scorpion leathers, if that sparks a memory lol. Thanks for your help that weekend. They took care of it. See y'all soon!
Noooooo! Don't do it! Intermediate is way to dangerous! Leave it closed and sealed to the end of time! Just go from Novive to Advanced WERA Expert Racer! Totally skip "Surv-I-ver group!
LOL Congratulations! My wife would not let me make my son's middle name "Danger" - and I really wanted to
I thought you were familiar. Congrats and have fun! Remember, Intermediate has the widest range of riders, and therefore sometimes carries the most risk, so don't get sucked into trying to match the fastest rider (at least not in the first sessions)
