Flipping the track sounds awesome to me too. Please make it happen Trevor.

Running it in reverse makes it a more technical course and heavily rewards the rider that keeps his eyes up and running the best lines. For those interested in developing skills reverse direction throws a lot at you...3 decreasing radius turns, a double apex, 2 fast dog legs and my favorite is the right , left, right before the back straight. Entering and exiting the track are safer in this direction as well. Entering and exiting the pit area use the same gate and so requires everyone to keep speed down extra low there.

Hopefully Trevor sees this soon and is up for it

For as many times as we'e ridden Jennings, we've never ridden it backwards. Could be fun

Just signed up! About to long haul there from Michigan!

Anyone know if they have water and a dump station on site for campers?

They don't, even electrical is a little sketchy but there are some 30amp boxes in the grassy area. I don't use them so cant say for sure what the status of them are. If you use one of the 30 amp recepticals know you will have to ride your bike 200 feet or so through the grass to get to the concrete pit. If you set up on the pit row you have a single 15 or 20 amp duplex to share with the pit next to you. Its no worse than Road A, maybe a bit better actually.

I will inquire about running counter one day. I'm not sure if they will let us.

Is the no drone policy an STT policy or a JGP policy?

Bummer, I've seen pics of them at other tracks, I guess they weren't ran by STT. Should of paid more attention.

Ask the nice lady at the gate. I'm sure it will be OK.

How does one get an accurate sound reading. Same same way Jennings measures it.
Yes I have an app, but at what distance from the exhaust. (in line with can directly behind it) off to the side? and at what RPM.

My question also. There are apps, and I have a semi-pro sound level meter, but I would assume at WFO down the straight is where they measure it.

That is how they do it on the weekends they run their own trackdays...meter is at the start finish as you blast by, you get the meatball if you are too loud. Like i said before don't sweat it if you have a normal (sane) aftermarket pipe/slip-on. If a open pipe Harley is music to your ears then you are the guy risking the the track and the fun.

Trevor, any word on reverse direction one day. Id like to mount up my gearing/rear wheel for Saturday. If anyone plays with there gearing I'd suggest at least one tooth higher on the rear on reverse day. i supose if you have lots of HP it doesnt really matter. On my 86HP SV650 it helps a lot in the tighter section in the back.

Not that simple - it is part of the contract. There is extra cost from them to run counter. It will have to be a discussion between track management, my boss and me. However, with the date almost sold out already, to change it now means I would be changing a product that someone has already purchased. So, although there would be some people saying "yay - counter!", there would easily be an equal number pissed off about the unexpected change - so that's a hard decision to make at this point.

As far as drones, we don't really have an official no drones policy, although if I saw one at an event while the track was hot, we would have to red-flag the session while I kindly ask that it not be run while bikes are on track. With that said, many tracks (Barber and Road Atlanta) have a no-drones policy that super-cedes any rules of a renter.

Maybe next year STT can contract and advertise a backwards track day at JenningsGP for the season closer, I'm sure it would sell out. As far as drones go, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable if I saw one flying around while I'm out on the track. Just my opinion.....
